Rogers Charitable Trust has helped the Te Awamutu College Board establish a Te Awamutu College Foundation Fund at Momentum Waikato to provide a secure perpetual funding stream that the College's alumni and families can grow.
Established with the transfer of $50,000 from the Rogers Charitable Trust, the fund will be a ’named fund’ within the wider regional endowment managed by Momentum Waikato.
While some individuals and families already donate to Momentum for student scholarships, this is the first such initiative for a Waikato school.
Income generated by the fund can be used for projects and resources that benefit the school and its students.
TA College Principal Tony Membery thanked the Rogers Charitable Trust for its decades of support and its founding gift to launch the Fund.
